TREND STOP: COLLAR CLIP MANIA!
I was so upset that these were sold out :(
But then came across a blogger in the same predicament as me that created the same look using random earrings and a chain instead. Like so:
You will need:A Necklace chain,Earrings of your choice, and a pair of pliersIt seems quite easy to make, so maybe not all hope is lost :)
- Take your necklace and find a point a little bit further along than halfway, because you want one of the chains slightly longer than the other, (to make it fall lower when you wear it).
- Using pliers, open up one of the rings nearest this point, so that it separates the two pieces.
- Now you should have a necklace in two pieces.
- Remove the end parts of each of the chains (like the clip), so that you only have chains left.
- Take your earrings and thread the two chains through the post, you want to put the longer chain first onto the earring, then the shorter one. Do the same on the other side, making sure that the chains aren’t twisted.
- When you want to wear it just put the earrings through the material on your collar, and add the butterfly on the back.
- TA DAAAAA!Oh, and by the way, you can change the earrings whenever you like to match your outfit :)
